1Who we are and scope
This policy explains how Home 2 Home Web LLC, doing business as The ShaverPro Shop ("we", "us", "our"), 509 S 21st Ave, Hollywood, FL 33319, USA, handles personal data when you visit shaverproshop.com, place an order, contact us or receive our messages. We are the controller of this data (the "business" under US state laws).
You can reach us about privacy at info@shaverproshop.com.
Where the law of your country, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection or a US state privacy law, gives you rights or protections beyond this policy, those apply.
2Personal data we collect
We collect personal data in three ways: what you give us, what we receive automatically when you use the site, and what we receive from service providers involved in your order.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | Name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses | You |
| Order and payment | Products ordered, amounts, order history, payment method type and the last digits of a card. Full card numbers are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us. | You, payment providers |
| Delivery | Shipping status, tracking events, delivery confirmation | Carriers, Shopify |
| Account and preferences | Login details if you create an account, communication and marketing preferences, optional demographic information you choose to give | You |
| Support and communications | Emails, live chat messages, claims, photos you send us about a defect or damage | You |
| Reviews and content | Review text, rating, name or initials displayed with a review | You |
| Technical and usage data | IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type, operating system, device, pages viewed, referring site, date and time, cookie identifiers | Automatically, cookies and similar technologies |
| SMS data | Phone number, opt-in and opt-out records, message delivery status | You, messaging providers |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, such as health, racial or ethnic origin, religious or political beliefs, or biometric data, and we ask you not to send it to us. If we ever need to process it, we do so only with your explicit consent or as the law allows.
Apart from the service providers named in this policy, we do not obtain your personal data from other third parties without a lawful basis and, where required, your consent.
3Why we use your data and our legal bases
The table shows why we use your data. For people in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, it also shows the legal basis for each purpose.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Process and deliver your order, handle payments, returns, withdrawals and warranty claims | Identity, contact, order, payment, delivery | Performance of a contract |
| Customer service and responding to your requests | Identity, contact, order, support | Contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you |
| Fraud prevention, security of the site and payments | Technical, order, payment | Legitimate interest in protecting our business and customers |
| Tax, accounting and other legal obligations; responding to authorities | Identity, order, payment | Legal obligation |
| Marketing emails | Identity, contact, preferences, purchase history | Your consent, or, where the law allows, our legitimate interest in telling existing customers about similar products, with an easy opt-out |
| Marketing SMS | Phone number, preferences | Your consent |
| Analytics: understanding how the site is used and improving it | Technical and usage data | Your consent where the law requires it, otherwise our legitimate interest |
| Advertising and measuring ad performance | Technical and usage data, cookie identifiers | Your consent |
| Publishing reviews and monitoring them against abuse | Review content, name or initials | Legitimate interest, and your consent where you submit a review |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims; enforcing our terms | Any data relevant to the claim | Legitimate interest, legal obligation |
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of what we did before. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object, as explained in section 11.
4Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels, local storage and device identifiers, which we refer to together as cookies.
| Category | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps your cart, enables checkout and secure payment, supports security and fraud prevention, remembers your cookie choices. | Always active. These do not require consent and the site cannot work without them. |
| Preferences | Remembers settings such as language, country and currency. | Active only if you accept them, where the law requires consent. |
| Analytics | Measures visits, pages viewed and how visitors reach the site, so we can improve it. | Active only if you accept them, where the law requires consent. |
| Marketing | Measures the performance of our advertising, shows and limits ads on other sites and platforms, and links visits to our messages. | Active only if you accept them. In the US, you can opt out (section 12). |
Managing your choices
- When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customize non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy or cookie settings link on the site.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies can stop the cart and checkout from working.
- Where the law requires it, we treat the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data for advertising.
- Cookie lifetimes vary by cookie and provider, from the length of your visit to up to two years. The settings panel shows the providers and cookies currently in use.
Some cookies are set by third parties such as Shopify, our payment providers, and, where enabled, analytics and advertising providers. Their use of the data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5Consent
When you give us personal data to place an order or contact us, we use it for those purposes. For anything else, such as marketing or non-essential cookies, we ask for your consent separately, or give you the choice to refuse. Consent is never a condition of buying a product.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@shaverproshop.com, using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to an SMS, or changing your cookie settings.
6Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed, with:
- Platform and hosting providers: Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout (section 7).
- Payment providers: Shopify Payments, PayPal and the other payment methods you choose at checkout.
- Carriers and logistics partners: to deliver your order and provide tracking.
- Communication providers: email and SMS platforms, live chat and customer support tools.
- Analytics and advertising providers: where enabled and, where required, only with your consent.
- Review providers: to collect and display reviews.
- Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants and insurers, under confidentiality duties.
- Authorities and other parties: where required by law or a regulator, to respond to legal requests from public and governmental authorities, to enforce our Terms and Conditions of Sale, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and those of our customers and others.
- Successors: a buyer or partner in a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, who must respect this policy.
These providers act on our instructions or under their own legal obligations, and they must keep the data confidential and secure. We take reasonable steps so that each uses your data only to perform the services it provides to us. Each provider also has its own privacy policy for the information it receives, and we recommend that you read them. We do not sell your personal data for money.
7Shopify and payment providers
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell to you. Your data is stored in Shopify's systems, which use security measures including firewalls. For more information, read the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal and other providers you choose at checkout. They collect and use your payment data under their own privacy policies and are responsible for protecting it, including in line with payment card industry standards. We receive only the information we need to confirm and manage your order.
8International transfers
We are based in the United States, so your data is processed there. Our providers and their sub-processors may also process it in other countries, including countries outside the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and which may not offer the same level of protection.
When we or our providers transfer personal data from the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients), Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK addendum or equivalent, or another safeguard permitted by law. You can ask us for information about the safeguards at info@shaverproshop.com.
9How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and as the law requires.
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Order, invoice and payment records | For the period required by tax, accounting and consumer law, which is generally up to 10 years depending on the country. |
| Account data | While your account is open, then deleted or anonymized unless we must keep it by law. |
| Support correspondence and claims | As long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, warranty period or legal claim. |
| Marketing email and SMS data | Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We then keep a minimal record of your opt-out so we do not contact you again, and records of your consent as proof. |
| Cookie and analytics data | For the lifetime of the cookie and the retention period set with the provider. |
10Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls, the use of providers that apply recognized security standards, and regular review of our practices. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach affects your personal data in a way that creates a risk for you, we will notify you and the competent authorities as the law requires, and take the necessary steps to address it.
11Your rights (EU, UK, Switzerland and elsewhere)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data;
- restrict the processing of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format and have it transferred to another provider;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that significantly affects you.
To exercise a right, email info@shaverproshop.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We respond within one month, which the law allows us to extend in complex cases, and we will tell you if we do. Exercising your rights is free unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive. Other countries, such as Brazil, Canada and others in Latin America, give similar rights, and we honor those that apply to you.
You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority: for the EU/EEA, the authority in your country; for the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; for Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
12US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas or another US state with a privacy law, you may have the rights below. California's law is the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA.
- Know and access the personal information we collect, use and disclose, and receive a portable copy.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use it beyond what is needed to provide the services you request.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising a right.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics cookies can count as a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under US state laws. You can opt out of these through the cookie and privacy settings link on the site, by turning on the Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing info@shaverproshop.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share".
To make a request, email info@shaverproshop.com. We verify your identity by matching the information you give with what we hold. An authorized agent may act for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days, which the law may allow us to extend once. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and, depending on your state, you may then contact your state attorney general.
13Email and SMS messaging
What we send
We send messages needed to carry out your order, such as order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your requests, by email and, if you provided a phone number, by SMS. These are not marketing. We send product updates, promotional offers and similar marketing by email or SMS only if you have opted in, for example through a checkbox at checkout or a sign-up form. Consent to marketing is not a condition of any purchase.
Collection and use of phone numbers
We collect your phone number during registration, checkout or sign-up, to send order notifications and, if you opted in, product updates and promotional offers.
Your consent and how to withdraw it
By giving your number and opting in to marketing messages, you agree to receive recurring SMS marketing from us at that number, which may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us at info@shaverproshop.com. Email marketing can be stopped with the unsubscribe link in each email. We keep a record of your consent and of your opt-out.
Managing your preferences
You can manage your email and SMS preferences by logging in to your account on our website, if you have one, or by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time.
Data security and sharing
We protect your phone number and messaging data with the security measures described in section 10. We share your phone number with the messaging service providers that send our SMS on our behalf, who must follow strict security and confidentiality standards and use it only for that purpose. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. SMS communications comply with the local regulations of the jurisdictions where we send them.
14Age and children
Our website and products are intended for adults. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and that you have the legal capacity to buy. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16, or under 13 in the United States, and our site is not directed at them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us at info@shaverproshop.com and we will delete it.
15Automated decisions and third-party links
We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing. Shopify and our payment providers may use automated tools to screen orders for fraud. If an order is declined and you think this is a mistake, contact us for a human review.
Our site may link to websites run by others, such as the sources we cite in our FAQ. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
16Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version, and changes apply from the date they are published on this page. We encourage you to review it from time to time. If we make significant changes, we notify you by email or with a prominent notice on the site, and where the law requires your consent to a new use of your data, we ask for it.
